What do you love about working at Evolution? 

I really like the team we have got. We have all got good relationships here. Because we are the size we are it’s like we are a family – which some of us actually are! We have a good culture – we are all friendly and support each other. The company helps you to achieve your goals – helps you go on courses for your own personal and professional development. 

What are you most proud of?

I am proud of the company and the way we help people. As well as renovating homes and giving people better places to live we are also trying to help reduce people’s living costs with technology in their homes. I am proud I have done every job in the business over the years – I like knowing about the whole business and the fact it enables me to jump into a role if someone is off.

How does the business have a positive impact on the community?

JJ is always striving to help the underprivileged, he is always trying to help people who struggle, because of his own background. He gives back to the community, to the football clubs, to boxing. The charity boat race we do is to help health services. He is always trying to help out where he can.

What do you like to do when you are not working?

I have got into paddleboarding. We have been to Coniston Water and my young daughter loved it so we will be doing a lot more of that in the Lakes. My daughter also loves swimming – and I really enjoy going swimming with her at the weekend. I love spending time with family whatever we are doing.
