What do you love about working at Evolution?

It feels like a family. We all help each other and have each other’s backs. JJ makes sure it’s a fun working environment – and although we work really hard and take great pride in delivering quality outcomes for our clients – we also make sure we have a laugh as a team as well. 

What are you most proud of?

To see where the business is now – and where the team are now – compared to where we used to be.  To go from six or seven team members to more than 50. The amount of jobs the business has created – providing opportunities for people of all ages from all walks of life. It’s very satisfying to see how the business has evolved and what we have all achieved collectively through our own personal development. 

How does the business have a positive impact on the community?

As someone who is from Blackpool and lives in the area – it is great to see how Evolution has a positive impact on the community and on people’s lives. Working with the Blackpool Housing Company – we are helping to regenerate the area. It is great to see the change we are making on properties across the community, raising housing standards and helping to make people’s homes nicer places to live.

What do you like to do when you are not working?

I like to go running – usually down a country road for half an hour after work – I really enjoy being out there and clearing my head. I also enjoy reading and watching movies. Spending time with my wife and family, taking the kids swimming, going for days out. I am a Man Utd supporter. Having young twin boys means I don’t get to Old Trafford much these days, but hopefully when the boys are older we will be able to enjoy that together.
