What do you love about working at Evolution? 

Everyone I deal with here is really nice. It’s a good atmosphere to work in. The jobs we do are interesting and challenging.

What are you most proud of? 

I am proud of progressing and moving towards a more office-based role after previously always being on the tools. I am proud of being part of a team who take a real pride in their work and in doing a good job. I always take pride in my work too so it’s great to be working with like-minded people who have a shared ethos and values.

How does the business have a positive impact on the community? 

We do a lot of work on social housing, improving homes in Blackpool and across the North-West. We are evolving and improving communities. We also take part in fundraising for charity, we are always looking to help other people.

What do you like to do when you are not working? 

I have got a young son and I love spending time with him. It’s working well for me that my job now involves spending some time in the office, and not doing the physical work every day, so I can save some of my physical energy for  running around playing footy with my son!

I love to relax and have days out with my wife and son, and seeing my mum and dad. I live in Skelmersdale so we head out for days out to Southport or Liverpool.

In terms of my hobbies I enjoy playing guitar and watching Formula 1.
